Content & Publishing

My journalism journey started as the opinion editor of the Nanyang Chronicle, the student-run newspaper at my alma mater, Nanyang Technological University. I was also involved in a student group that developed a prototype for a weekend lifestyle section of Singapore's national broadsheet, The Straits Times. This early experience, combined with an internship at Australian Consolidated Press and several years as a lifestyle journalist for one of Singapore's largest media companies, helped refine my writing skills and fueled my passion for content creation. Over the next two decades, while working full-time in PR and communications, I freelanced for notable publications and organisations such as the Singapore Institute of Directors, NUS High School of Mathematics and Sciences, Singapore Sports School, Elle, Shape and many more. This diverse exposure validated my expertise, increased my visibility in the industry and attracted new opportunities, benefiting from a wider reach and social proof.

The following highlights my recent copywriting for Auckland University of Technology's social media and editorial management for BW Group's publication, World Horizon and Kotahitanga, the quarterly newsletter for AUT's largest faculty .
