You don’t always realise how far you’ve come until you look back at where you’ve been. Through the storms, you did not think you would survive. Over the mountains, you did not think you had the capacity to climb. But you did. And you’re here. And that within itself is worth celebrating. You are worth celebrating.

About Me

Over the last 18 years, I have developed my strategic communications expertise through diverse roles across various sectors, including retail, hospitality, shipping, banking, insurance, and education, in Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand. I believe in the transformative power of communication—it's not just about sharing information, but also about fostering connections and building understanding.

I'm fortunate to be able to use my skills to help organisations engage meaningfully with their audiences and create strong branding that stands out.

Outside my professional pursuits, I'm passionate about middle-distance running and love experimenting in the kitchen as a self-taught cook. I'm deeply interested in languages, and working towards adding te reo Māori and Korean to my existing repertoire while pursuing a part-time Master of Communications Leadership at the Auckland University of Technology.

I'm of Chinese and Malay descent and was born and raised in Singapore. In 2018, I made the decision to leave the comforts of home and start a new life in New Zealand. I value consistency, honesty and respect.  Friends and colleagues often describe me as capable and responsible, turning to me for my organisational skills, calmness under pressure, and advice on parenting and the best spots for Singaporean cuisine in New Zealand.
